Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs. Students gain hands-on emergency medicine experience, working alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses), focusing on vital skills such as patient care, triage, and laboratory procedures. The program provides flexibility in externship length and location, aiming to support students' educational requirements and career growth.
