Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students seeking hands-on experience in emergency medicine. The program provides opportunities to work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (Veterinary Nurses) in a customer-focused environment, with a focus on honing emergency skills. Students can choose the length and location of their externship, supported by mentorship and flexible scheduling options. Rabies vaccination is required unless exempted by the school's policy.
