Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. The program focuses on honing skills such as patient care, triaging cases, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Students can choose the length and location of their externship, supported by experienced veterinary technicians, with a requirement of rabies vaccination unless exempted by school policy.
