Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited vet tech/nursing students. The program provides hands-on experience in emergency medicine, focusing on skills like patient care, laboratory procedures, and triage. Students have flexibility in externship length and location, with mentorship from credentialed veterinary technicians. Rabies vaccination is required, and the program aims to create a supportive, growth-oriented environment for both pets and employees.
