The Externship Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, developing, and monitoring extern sites in the medical community, ensuring 40% of externs are hired by their site. Duties include maintaining compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations, coordinating student placements, and assisting with career development. The role involves liaison between students, faculty, and externship providers, conducting site visits, and facilitating orientation. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
