Coordinate and administer the veterinary student externship program and campus recruitment efforts to convert students into career opportunities. Responsibilities include scheduling externs, conducting screening interviews, serving as the central communication hub, collecting feedback for program enhancement, and maintaining accurate documentation. Collaborate with Alliance Animal Health team members and partner hospitals to enhance the externship experience and align with organizational goals, shaping the next generation of veterinary professionals.

Cornell Extern Program is open to college sophomores, juniors, and seniors from all undergraduate colleges. It's an opportunity for students to explore their career options while still in college. Winter externships are offered during January and February. Externships can last from one day to one week.
