Loyola Law School Externship Program is a great way for law students to practice law through work in specialized offices. Students must be in at least their second year of law school to apply. Externships are unpaid, but students may receive up to 14 units of externship credit toward their total credits needed for graduation. Students may choose positions within judicial clerkships, public interest organizations, government offices and corporate legal departments. All positions will help them increase the skills they will need as practicing attorneys.

The externship is unpaid. The externship will expose students to various career options in the dentistry field. Students applying for the program must be in good academic standing. They must also have completed courses that have taught them basic oral and maxillofacial surgery. They must know how to administer local anesthesia and perform dental surgery of the teeth, soft tissue, and the jawbone, such as teeth extraction.
