Summer 2024 Nursing Externship at Ascension St. John offers PRN scheduling with up to 24 hours per week across multiple locations in Oklahoma. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care under RN supervision, completing assigned nursing orders, and documenting patient observations. Requirements include BLS certification and enrollment in a nursing program, with preference given to students who have completed at least one semester of clinical rotations. Winter externships are offered during January and February. Externships can last from one day to one week.
