Veterinary students at AVMA-accredited schools can gain hands-on clinical experience through externships at United Veterinary Care partner hospitals like Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists. Eligible students receive stipends to offset expenses, and priority scheduling is given to those in their clinical years. Externs actively participate in cases, receive mentorship, and have opportunities for specialization in areas like emergency medicine and surgery, with a focus on continuous learning and development within a supportive team environment.
