Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. The program focuses on honing emergency skills such as patient vitals, laboratory processing, and triaging in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, vaccinated for rabies, and ready to begin within six months.
