Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program in emergency medicine for AVMA-accredited vet tech/nursing students. The program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and flexibility in externship length and location. Students focus on emergency skills like patient care, triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Rabies vaccination is required, and applicants must be actively enrolled in an accredited program.
