Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students seeking hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians, focusing on vital skills such as triaging cases, obtaining patient vitals, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
