Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship - Upper East Side, New York

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students enrolled in AVMA-accredited programs. The program provides hands-on experience in emergency medicine, focusing on skills like triage, patient care, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Students have flexibility in choosing the length and location of their externship, with mentorship provided by credentialed veterinary technicians. Rabies vaccination is required unless exempted by the school's policy, and the externship must commence within 6 months of application.
