Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students seeking hands-on emergency medicine experience. With a focus on customer and employee satisfaction, VEG provides a supportive environment for students to hone skills in triage, patient care, and laboratory procedures. Flexible in location and duration, the externship offers mentorship by credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses). Applicants must be vaccinated for rabies or adhere to school policies regarding vaccination exemptions.
