Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited vet tech/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. With a focus on customer satisfaction and employee well-being, VEG strives to create a supportive environment where both pets and staff feel valued. This unpaid externship opportunity allows students to gain skills in emergency care, including patient vitals, laboratory procedures, and triage, with flexibility in externship length and location. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a vet tech/nursing program, with rabies vaccination required unless exempted by their school's policy.
