Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed technicians. Students gain skills in patient care, triage, and collaboration, with flexibility to choose the duration and location of their externship. Rabies vaccination is required, and the program aims to create a supportive, employee-centric environment while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
