Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for those enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs, focusing on hands-on emergency medicine experience. The program prioritizes a customer-first mentality, employee-centric culture, and high NPS scores, aiming to provide the best experience for both customers and employees alike. Externs gain skills in emergency care, patient vitals, lab processing, and collaboration within a fast-paced environment, with flexibility in externship length and location.
