Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. The program focuses on honing skills in patient care, triaging, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and be willing to start the externship within six months of application, with rabies vaccination required. Flexibility in duration and location of the externship is provided.
