Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs. The program provides hands-on experience in emergency medicine, focusing on skills like patient care, triaging, and collaboration. Students choose the length and location of their externship and must be vaccinated for rabies unless exempt under school policy.
