Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience with a focus on customer and employee satisfaction. The program allows students to choose the length and location of their externship, offering mentorship and immersion in emergency medicine practices. Requirements include enrollment in an accredited program, rabies vaccination, and externship commencement within six months.
