Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students enrolled in AVMA accredited programs. Students gain hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses), focusing on vital skills such as triaging cases and caring for hospitalized patients. With flexible duration and location options, students receive mentorship in a customer-centric environment with a focus on revolutionizing emergency medicine. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempt per school policy, and applicants must be actively enrolled in programs requiring externship hours.
