Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students aimed at providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. The program emphasizes a customer-first approach and a supportive work environment. Students gain practical skills in patient care, laboratory work, and triage, with flexibility in externship length and location. Candidates must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited program, have rabies vaccination, and be ready to start within six months.
