Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited vet tech/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience. Students gain skills in patient care, lab processing, and triage while working alongside credentialed Veterinary Nurses. Flexible durations and locations are available, emphasizing a customer-centric approach and employee well-being, with VEG being a nominee for INC Magazine's Best Places to Work. Rabies vaccination is required unless school policy allows handling unvaccinated animals.
