VEG offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Students will gain skills in triaging cases, caring for hospitalized patients, and processing laboratory samples. The program prioritizes flexibility, mentorship, and immersion in emergency medicine, requiring enrollment in an AVMA accredited program and rabies vaccination.
