VEG offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Externships give students a chance to increase their skill set and prepare for a career in nursing. Externs will work in one of the world’s largest academic medical centers. They will work with physicians, allied professionals and other nurses in an environment where they can exchange ideas and increase their medical knowledge.
