Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (Veterinary Nurses) focusing on emergency skills like patient vitals, lab processing, and patient care. Flexible in duration and location, the program prioritizes mentorship and requires rabies vaccination.
