Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technician/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside experienced veterinary technicians. Students will gain skills in patient care, triage, laboratory procedures, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. This program, designed for AVMA-accredited students seeking externship hours, prioritizes safety and mentorship, allowing flexibility in location and duration. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempted by the school's policy.
