Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited students seeking hands-on emergency medicine experience. With a focus on providing top-notch care for both pets and employees, VEG boasts the highest NPS score in the industry. The unpaid externship allows students to choose their own length and location, offering mentorship and full immersion in emergency medicine practices. Applicants must be enrolled in accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs, with rabies vaccinations required unless exempted by school policy.
