Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program across the United States, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience. The program focuses on honing emergency skills, such as patient vitals, lab samples, and triage, under the mentorship of credentialed Veterinary Nurses. Open to AVMA accredited vet tech/nursing students seeking externship hours, the program requires rabies vaccination and offers flexibility in duration and location choice.
