Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited vet tech/nursing students seeking hands-on emergency medicine experience. With a focus on customer service and employee satisfaction, VEG provides mentorship, flexibility in externship length and location, and immersive learning in emergency medicine skills such as triage and patient care. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited program, vaccinated for rabies, and able to start within six months.
