Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. The program focuses on honing skills such as obtaining patient vitals, processing laboratory samples, and triaging emerging cases. Flexible in duration and location, the externship emphasizes mentorship and requires rabies vaccination unless exempted by the student's school policy.
