Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs. The program focuses on developing essential emergency skills, including patient care, laboratory processing, and triaging cases, while offering flexibility in externship length and location. Applicants must be vaccinated for rabies and actively enrolled in accredited programs, aiming to begin their externship within six months.
