Rapidly expanding Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students gain skills in patient care, lab processing, and triaging under the mentorship of experienced veterinary technicians. The program, available nationwide, prioritizes safety and growth, requiring enrollment in an accredited vet tech/nursing program and rabies vaccination.
