VEG offers an externship program for veterinary technician/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine across their US hospital locations. The program emphasizes an employee-centric culture, aiming to provide the best experience for both customers and employees, boasting one of the highest NPS scores in the industry. Students will gain skills in emergency care, triaging, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility in externship length and location choice, while meeting AVMA accreditation requirements. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempt under school policy, and applicants must be enrolled in an accredited veterinary technology/nursing program.
