VEG offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience. Flexible in duration and location, students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses) to enhance skills in patient care, triaging, and laboratory procedures. Rabies vaccination required unless school policy permits handling unvaccinated animals.
