Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside experienced veterinary technicians. The program focuses on honing skills such as obtaining patient vitals, processing lab samples, and triaging cases in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include enrollment in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and rabies vaccination, with flexibility in externship length and location.

Oregon Tax Court Externships are offered to both law students and paralegal students who have completed at least one full year (law) or half (paralegal) of their schooling. Externships are available in the Spring, Summer and Fall for law students and throughout the year for paralegals. Law student externships are 13 weeks during which students will work in the courts on tax matters. Externs will work up to 40 hours per week. Eligible law students must be self-starters with excellent research and writing skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
