ICE Externships
Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) Externships offer in-field work experiences for students pursuing careers in the culinary or hospitality management fields. Students may choose an externship to fit their career objectives.

Students have many opportunities to choose an exciting environment where they will learn from experienced professionals. Students interested in careers in the culinary arts, baking and pastry may select from some of the finest restaurants in various cities such as New York, California, Washington D.C., Miami, New Orleans and more.

Other students who choose hospitality management will find externships available with some of the finest hotels in the country, like the Peninsula Hotel in New York or Walt Disney World. Other students may focus their careers in the food media with externships with well-known media companies that include Food Network, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Good Housekeeping, and Bon Appetit.

The externships are sponsored by the Institute of Culinary Education, a top culinary school located in New York. Students accepted into the externship program will spend approximately 200 hours in the externship program as part of their training required for graduation from the culinary school.
