University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Externships

University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Externships
University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Externships are offered to veterinary students from all schools. The externships are for students who are in their final year of veterinary school.

Externships are available in the Fall and Summer and are structured as two 2-week assignments. This externship gives veterinary students an opportunity to do more than just observe; externs will receive hands-on experience in providing veterinary treatment. Externships also offer college credit for completion of the program.

Students must be enrolled full-time in a U.S. accredited school of veterinary medicine and be in good standing in order to apply. They must submit an application, along with a letter from their school dean, and have proof of health insurance in order to apply.

Why not apply for an externship and internship?

The externships are sponsored by The School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Established in 1884, the university has an excellent reputation as a global leader in veterinary medicine offering education, research, and clinical care of its patients.

The location is usually in PENNSYLVANIA.
