Main Line Health Professional Nursing Externship Program

Main Line Health Professional Nursing Externship Program and Jobs
Main Line Health Professional Nursing Externship Program offers a paid, hands-on work experience for nursing students. Eligible students must be enrolled in an accredited BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing) program and have completed at least one clinical rotation before applying.

The Professional Nursing Externship Program gives nursing students an opportunity to gain more experience in patient care. It also helps students better prepare for the clinical setting in which they will be working after graduation. Working in an actual clinical environment will help strengthen their clinical skills.

In addition to a competitive salary, students will work with state-of-art equipment and receive paid classroom and clinical orientation. Externship work hours are flexible to enable students to continue their schooling. Work schedules include part-time rotating schedules to meet student needs.

The externship program is offered by Main Line Health at five locations, including Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. Interested students may apply twice a year in May and December.

The location is usually in PENNSYLVANIA.
