EPA Children's Environmental Health Program

This research provides a unique opportunity to contribute to OCHP efforts by applying science (e.g., review of the scientific literature) to inform children’s health impacts of EPA regulations and risk assessment. Further, the project provides training in current and emerging children’s environmental health issues with an opportunity to develop projects to contribute to the resolution of one or more of these issues.

They must know how to administer local anesthesia and perform dental surgery of the teeth, soft tissue, and the jawbone, such as teeth extraction.

Programs are offered in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Externs may participate in civil litigation, conduct legal research, assist the Justice Department with legal work, draft legal briefs and motions, and assist with federal legal cases. Applicants must be currently attending a U.S. accredited law school, be in good standing, and have excellent legal research and writing skills.

Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV) Externships offer veterinary students an opportunity to work in a veterinary environment for the study of birds, mammals and reptiles. The clinical externships are available at veterinary facilities across the country. Students accepted into the clinical externship program will have opportunities to learn about the care of many types of wild animals, including bald eagles, raptors, and other exotic wildlife and zoo animals. Oregon Tax Court Externships are offered to both law students and paralegal students who have completed at least one full year (law) or half (paralegal) of their schooling. Externships are available in the Spring, Summer and Fall for law students and throughout the year for paralegals. Law student externships are 13 weeks during which students will work in the courts on tax matters. Externs will work up to 40 hours per week.
