YAI offers an unpaid internship for students enrolled in a speech language pathology graduate program, providing direct supervision and training in speech therapy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes evaluating and planning therapy, instructing on home therapeutic programs, and using electronic health records. Interns gain experience in patient communication and coordination of care with an interdisciplinary team, contributing to improving patients' quality of life.
