Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship - Georgetown, DC (US Washington, D.C.)

This job description is for a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program at Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG). VEG is an emergency company with a customer-centric and employee-focused approach. The externship offers hands-on experience in emergency medicine for veterinary technology/nursing students. Students will work alongside credentialed emergency veterinary technicians (Veterinary Nurses) and gain skills in patient care, lab work, triage, and more. It's an unpaid externship, and rabies vaccinations are required unless the school has a specific policy. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and start the externship within six months.

SALARY: $81120.88
