This job description is for VEG's Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, offered at various hospital locations across the United States. The program is designed for veterinary technology/nursing students seeking hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Externs will work alongside credentialed emergency veterinary technicians (Veterinary Nurses) and gain experience in various aspects of emergency care, including patient vitals, laboratory samples, patient care, triage, and more. The externship is unpaid and requires rabies vaccination, with flexibility in choosing the duration and location of the externship. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and meet certain requirements. 

SALARY: $80645.41
