Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an externship for veterinary technician/nurse students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience. Participants will learn skills such as patient care, lab processing, and case triaging in a fast-paced environment. The program is unpaid and requires rabies vaccination, with flexibility in externship length and location. Candidates must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and start their externship within 6 months of application. This opportunity is exclusive to vet tech/nursing students, not for veterinary or veterinary assistant students.
