Bloomberg offers an Externship for diverse college sophomores interested in finance, business, and technology. The program, held in New York and San Francisco from May 20-23, includes professional development, exposure to financial markets, and potential interviews for 2025 internships. It's open to underrepresented groups, including Black, African-American, Hispanic, Latinx, Native, Indigenous, and first-generation students. Participants should be U.S. work-authorized, aiming for a client-facing career, and able to commit to a 10-week internship. St. Jude’s Nurse Extern Program is designed to give nursing students work experience in pediatric oncology nursing. Nursing school students who are within 12 months of graduation may apply. The length of the externship varies. Students who are entering their senior year of nursing school may apply. The internship is paid; housing is not included. Students who join the Bain team are offered externship positions that allow them to jump start their career through six-month working assignments at other companies where they can pursue different career paths. As Associate Consultants and Senior Associate Consultants, team members have an opportunity to broaden their consulting knowledge at consumer product companies, international think tanks, nonprofit charter schools, startup companies, and others. Christiana Care Health System Student Nurse Externships are offered to students enrolled in a nursing program and pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse. Students interested in applying must have completed at least one clinical rotation in an acute care setting. The externship is unpaid. The externships give nursing students an opportunity to work directly with the nursing team at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. This paid externship is offered during the summer. Up to 35 qualified students will be hired. To qualify, students should have a grade point average of 3.0 or above and be in their senior year of nursing school.
