Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on experience in emergency veterinary medicine across the United States. This program is designed for vet tech/nursing students, allowing them to work alongside experienced Veterinary Nurses and focus on critical emergency skills. The externship is unpaid and requires rabies vaccination in line with school policies, offering flexibility in duration and location. It is open exclusively to students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs, aiming to start within six months of application. This opportunity represents a unique blend of practical learning and immersion in a customer-first, employee-centric workplace.
