Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in an AVMA accredited vet tech/nursing program. The program focuses on emergency medicine, providing hands-on experience in various critical care tasks alongside experienced Veterinary Nurses. Externs can customize the duration and location of their externship, receiving mentorship and immersion in emergency veterinary practices. Rabies vaccination is required, aligning with school policies. This opportunity is exclusive to veterinary technology/nursing students needing externship hours/skills.
