Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs. The program provides hands-on emergency medicine experience, including patient care, laboratory work, and triage in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment. Externs can choose their externship duration and location, aligning with their school's requirements. This unpaid opportunity requires rabies vaccination, unless exempted by school policy, and is exclusively for veterinary technology/nursing students needing externship hours.
