Law Student Externship opportunity for Fall 2024 sponsored by the Federal Bar Association LGBTQ Law Section in collaboration with Lambda Legal. The position offers a stipend of $3,000 for a 10-week semester, with a commitment of minimum 15 hours per week. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting court documents, analyzing legislation, and participation in case team meetings. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, as well as a passion for LGBTQ rights and public interest law.

Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) U.S. Externships offer foreign medical students a hands-on clinical program that matches residency program requirements. It fills the experience requirement for students when they apply for a residency. The externship is different than just observing. Externships provide real, hands-on work experience for medical students. Externs will work with an attending physician and perform clinical duties such as assessing patient histories and performing physical examinations. All extern duties are done at a hospital under the supervision of a U.S. licensed attending physician.

Externs will profile startup companies, learn what VCs look for, and be a part of investing in the next generation of technology. Externships are a great way for law students at Georgetown University to experience working in law within the public sector. Training external to the classroom is available through the unpaid externship program that allows students to work in various work environments. Students accepted into the externship program may choose to work for the federal government, on the Hill, in judicial chambers, or in local or national non-profit agencies. UCLA Health Nursing Summer Externship Program offers work experience to nursing students who have completed their junior year and are entering their senior year of nursing school. The externship is unpaid.
