Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students seeking hands-on emergency medicine experience. With a focus on employee and customer satisfaction, VEG aims to revolutionize emergency medicine by providing a supportive work environment. Students will gain practical skills such as patient care, laboratory procedures, and triage in a fast-paced setting. Flexible in duration and location, the externship offers mentorship from experienced veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses) and requires rabies vaccination unless exempt per school policy.
