Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing students. The program provides hands-on emergency medicine experience, focusing on skills like patient care, triaging, and lab processing. Flexibility in externship length and location is provided, with mentorship from experienced veterinary technicians. Rabies vaccination is required, and the program aims to create a supportive environment for both pets and students.
